Aberdare National Park covers approximately 767 square kilometers and offers a unique safari experience in mountain rainforest. The park features dramatic waterfalls, including the Karuru Falls which drop 272 meters. The famous Treetops Lodge is where Queen Elizabeth II learned of her accession to the throne in 1952. The park is home to the rare bongo antelope and offers excellent bird watching.
